These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] (“TenKey”, “we”, “us”) and apply to the TenKey app and the tenkeyvault.com website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TenKey is a private vault for photos, videos and files that appears as a working calculator. Features and availability may change as we develop the app, and some features (such as encrypted cloud backup) are only available on paid plans.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live.
3. Your code, recovery key and content
- Your vault is encrypted with a key only you control. Keep your code and recovery key safe. Because we can’t see your vault or your key, we may not be able to restore access if you lose both your code and your recovery key (and recovery email, if set).
- You keep all rights to the content you store. We don’t claim ownership of it and can’t view it.
- You are responsible for the content you store and for complying with applicable laws. You may not use the Service for illegal content or activity.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid plans may be offered as subscriptions or one-time purchases. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, including billing, renewals and refunds. Purchases made on our website are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time in your App Store, Google Play or account settings. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
5. Early access
TenKey is not yet released. Joining the early-access list doesn’t create a purchase or obligation. Pre-release versions may contain bugs; keep copies of anything important while testing.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service — for example, by trying to break its security, reverse-engineer it except as allowed by law, interfere with other users, or use it to store or share unlawful material.
7. Availability and backups
We work hard to keep the Service and backups reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We recommend keeping your recovery key in a safe place.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, [COMPANY NAME] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
